I am a bioinformaticist and statistical genetist. I enjoy logic and mathematics, and I like solving problems (especially biological problems) with these tools. I hope this blog will host and spawn some new ideas, and be a blog for any who like puzzles in life sciences like me. I’m currently working as an instructor in Huff Lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center. My focus includes developing a disease-gene finder, VAAST/pVAAST that identifies probable disease-causal gene with a probabilistic approach. You can find my CV HERE.
